








25.07.25 | Forest Alphabet Embroidery Workshop with Adriana Torres
We are beyond delighted to be welcoming BuenosAires-based illustrator, designer and embroiderer Adriana Torres who is in the UK briefly for a series of embroidery workshops and has added some extra dates to her workshop tour to visit us in Bristol and share her beautiful world of embroidery with us.
In this workshop, for which no prior experience is necessary, participants will explore a new alphabet inspired by the flora and fauna of the forest.
During 5 hours you will learn many embroidery stitches, such as Colcha stitch, Towel stitch, Quaker stitch, Argentinian Knot, Argentinian square knot, and The Argentinian Picot, among others.
Adriana travels the world sharing her vast teaching experience and knowledge in the art of embroidery.

Students will acquire proficiency in embroidery techniques, including Colcha stitch, Towel stitch, Quaker stitch, Argentinian knot and square knot, and Argentinian Picot, among others.
Materials included:
Pre-stamped fabric with the alphabet design, threads, needles, and a booklet with all the stitches.
Materials to bring:
All the materials are included, but you are invited to bring your favorite threads, needles and scissors.
Skill Level:
This is open for all skill levels including beginner stitchers. No previous knowledge is required.
