Intimate wedding ceremonies & reception parties

The Forge is a unique and intimate urban space available to hire for your celebrant wedding day. Just 10 minutes from the Bristol registry office, through Bristol's old town, and up the picturesque Christmas steps, it’s the ideal spot to gather your most loved people to celebrate your day. A stunning setting for a small city-center wedding party with original brickwork and dramatic views of the Bristol skyline through the industrial style floor-to-ceiling windows. The light is beautiful, we are high above the city and space feels special.

The ceremony

We are not licensed for wedding ceremonies. We are however working with a wonderful celebrant who offers a beautiful alternative to a legal ceremony, see further details below.

The party

Available for whole-day hire, afternoon gatherings, or an evening party, we are always flexible to your needs. It’s important to us that you feel at home and can make the space your own. Music, magic, and all the little extras. Whatever you want for your perfect day; we can make it happen.

We can can host 70 standing guests or up to 40 seated.

Eat

Canapés, long table suppers, street food vans, or wholesome buffets - whatever you fancy we can do.

We partner with a select handful exceptional independent South West caterers whose food we adore and expertise we admire.

Drink

Bubbles on arrival, bespoke cocktails and delicious alcohol free drinks; let us pour your something special.

We have a fully licensed bar and stock small batch beers, spirits, bubbles and wines from some of our favourite local independent producers and importers.

Decorate

The venue is beautiful as is but of course you are welcome to decorate to suit your style.
