The Forge can seat up to 40 guests for a ceremony or meal and host up to 70 standing for an informal party or drinks reception.

What are the catering and bar options?

We work with a selection of trusted partner caterers and can recommend options to suit your style. The Forge is also a fully licensed bar — no need to bring your own.

Can we have live music or a DJ?

Yes, amplified music is permitted indoors. We welcome DJs and small acoustic setups, with volume levels managed respectfully due to our central location.

Do you allow same-sex or LGBTQ+ weddings?

Yes — The Forge is proudly inclusive and welcomes all couples, including same-sex and LGBTQ+ celebrations.

Can we style or decorate the venue ourselves?

Yes, you’re welcome to bring your own styling or work with a stylist. The Forge is a creative, adaptable blank canvas.

The Ceremony

We are not licensed for wedding ceremonies. We are however working with a wonderful celebrant who offers a beautiful alternative to a legal ceremony, see further details below.

The Party

Available for whole-day hire, afternoon gatherings, or an evening party, we are always flexible to your needs. It’s important to us that you feel at home and can make the space your own. Music, magic, and all the little extras. Whatever you want for your perfect day; we can make it happen.

The venue is beautiful as is but of-course you are welcome to decorate to suit your style.

The Kitchen Studio

The latest addition to the Forge, the kitchen studio is upstairs from the main room and home to our open kitchen and a cosy social space overlooking the city. Available as an additional hire to the main wedding event space it can be used for post ceremony drinks, extra room for larger parties or for guests who like a bit of ‘quiet space’ away from the dance floor!
